I've been looking through the net for Websites or eBooks that could help me to learn Mandarin Language, and here are some of the things that I think they are very cool and helpful:
Chinese Characters and Culture
This website is considered as a big easy to use dictionary, it is based on a famous dictionary "Chinese Characters: A Genealogy and Dictionary". It is rich with many examples of each character you may choose, it is quite explanatory and meaningful, but you have to bear the very first times you use it till you get used to it. Fonts used there are a bit small. It offers a helpful chat page, with a "frequently used sentences" support, which makes the chat fun.
China Radio International
This web page provides learners with 30 Lessons, each lesson has several parts (two or three), each part covers a dialog with the new words explained and some grammatical tips mentioned as well. It's cool and nice to deal with, and It is published in many different languages. The link I've provided above is in Arabic language, which suits my needs ... hehe.
